Parish Pastoral Council
Under Canon Law 536, each parish is obliged to establish a Parish Pastoral Council. The PPC is governed by the norms determined by the PPC Constitution approved by The Most Reverend Nicholas Chia, Archbishop of Singapore.
The PPC comprises the Parish Priest, Assistant Priests, elected members from ministries, organisations and groups within the parish, elected members from the parish community who do not belong to any ministry, organisation or group, and appointed members. The PPC comprises members across all ages with different gifts and talents.
There are 54 members in our PPC. Councillors are appointed for a 2-year term.
The aim of the PPC is to serve the vision of the Church – Mystery, Communion, Mission. In other words, to be Christ-centred, Community-spirited and Mission-oriented. The function of the PPC is to investigate, ponder and propose practical conclusions on pastoral matters affecting the parish.
