URGENT REMINDER
Parishioners who have the ashes of their loved ones interred or who have booked a niche, should have
received a letter from their Columbarium. You are kindly requested to sign the Reply Form and notify your
Columbarium of your agreement. If for any reason you wish to terminate your use of the Columbarium, you
should indicate this in the Reply Form and return the same to your Columbarium by 20 February 2012,
failing which you shall be deemed to have agreed to the new Terms & Conditions. If you have not yet
received the letter and the accompanying documents,
PLEASE CONTACT YOUR COLUMBARIUM immediately.

To begin our Lenten preparation, the Parish Pastoral Council is organising a Lenten Reflection
on Tuesday, 21st February, at 8pm in church. Come, join our fellow parishioners and
Catechumens at this Lenten Reflection as we journey together as One Family and look
forward to our rising with Christ at Easter.

Many have complained about distraction during Mass. It seems that young people and the not-so-young
chat during Mass or use their mobile phones. Please refrain from causing distraction to others during Mass.
Switch off your mobile phone and stop the chatting. Respect God and your neighbours in Church. Is this too
much to expect of you?
SACCRE is organising Ablaze, a Healing Rally. We invite you to join us for an evening where the healing
power of Christ will transform our lives, so we are free to make ourselves like him - Mark 1:29-39

Stations of the Cross for Children will begin on 24th February 2012 (except 16th March 2012),
every Friday at 8.30pm, 3 Sea Avenue, until 23rd March 2012. All Children and Parents are invited.

Our annual PA will be held on Sunday, 11 March 2012, at the Tanah Merah Country Club. The theme is
“One Church, One Mission”. We invite you to join us in reflecting on our mission and be updated on our
current and future pastoral activities. Details of the PA and registration process can be found in the PA
leaflet which is available at all entrances of the Church. Also, we have volunteers stationed at the main
entrance of the Church on the weekends of 11/12 Feb & 18/19 Feb to attend to your registration or
enquiries. Feel free to approach them after Mass.
Registration closes on 27 February. As all parishioners have a shared responsibility in the mission of Christ,
we encourage you to come and contribute your part.

To promote Lenten prayer and reflection in preparation of Easter, this weekend we are distributing
“Lenten Reflections 2012” booklets to all. The theme is “Through the Door of Faith” We encourage
families, NCCs, & MOGs to use the booklet, setting aside some days in Lent for group reflection
and prayer.
The 47th Beginning Experience Programme –
A live-in weekend for the permanently separated, divorced & widowed (both male & female).
