FAMILY LIFE SOCIETY Family Life Society Counselling Services are available at the Church of Holy Family, Queen Of Peace and O.L. of Perpetual Succour. Lay counselors trained by FLS are available on Tue, Thu and Fri in the afternoons and evenings to provide a listening ear and help those in need. Parishioners can call 63820688 from Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm to make an appointment and to check for time and availability.
PREGNANCY CRISIS SERVICE Pregnancy Crisis Service, a programme of Family Life Society, was set up in 1987 to reach out to women, especially unmarried teenagers, who are facing unplanned and unwanted pregnancies, and do not know who to turn to. HOLY FAMILY THRIFT SHOP We wish to thank parishioners and visitors for their generosity from donation of clothes, shoes, books, toys, etc. As most of us helping at the Thrift Shop are elderly, we are not able to carry heavy electrical items or furniture and appeal to you NOT TO DROP THESE HEAVY ITEMS as we will have to pay a fee to a clearing company to dispose them.

THE BIBLE TIMELINE: SESSION #9(SEPT 7 & SEPT 17) Conquest & Judges (Part 1: Conquest) Reading requirement: The Book of Joshua with focus on Chap. 1-4, 6-8, and 23-24. In this lesson we hear how God raised up Joshua to lead them across the Jordan and into battle – starting with the dramatic, supernatural victory at Jericho. Jeff explains the keys to Joshua’s success and describes how the Israelites divided the land and settled in Canaan. He also discusses the significance of the Ark of the Covenant and the way in which Joshua’s conquest of the Promised Land is similar to Jesus’ spiritual conquest of the world.
