Ministry of Hospitality
- What are the function/roles of Ministry of Hospitality (MOH)
Our main aim/goal is to assist in preserving the solemnity and tranquility of Worship.In general,
we try to maintain orderliness in Church during Masses .Beside assisting the Church Priests, we
co-operate with other organisations within our church in delivering necessary information (flyers,
booklets, Catholic News, etc.), crowd control, collection of love offerings, traffic control, carpark
management, etc. At each Mass, we have wardens welcoming our parishioners and visitors.
2. What activities does Ministry of Hospitality (MOG) organise and where/where does Ministry of
Hospitality (MOG) usually meet?
The activities organised are
a) Joint Wardens/Eucharistic Ministers Retreat on Vesak day.
b) Wardens Commitment Day - this is a mass attended by all wardens to renew their committment
to serve God and the people that He has gathered. After which we have our fellowship and dinner
in a restaurant or in our church function room.
c) Fellowship cum General Meetings for our wardens.
3. What type of members is Ministry of Hospitality (MOG) looking for?
Baptised Catholics who would like to offer their services to God and his fellow brothers & sisters in
Christ.
